George Michael: „Symphonica” – the British megastar has finally released a new album

With over 120 million records sold, George Michael is one of the most successful British solo artists and has been thrilling people with his music for more than thirty years. Now the time has finally come, George Michael has released his eighth solo album „Symphonica„. The new long player was produced together with legend Phil Ramone, who unfortunately passed away in 2013 at the age of almost 80. „Symphonica” is his last work.

George Michael’s 2011 / 2012 tour took him to the most exclusive venues throughout Europe with a full orchestra. The Briton was the first pop artist ever to perform at the Palais Garnier of the Paris Opera. During the tour, the superstar performed personal highlights from his own repertoire in a festive new musical guise. During this time, the recordings for „Symphonica” were made. The extraordinary and special live experiences inspired him to make the recordings.

„Symphonica” offers the listener exquisite songs from George Michael’s career to date and titles by his favorite artists, such as Sting, Nina Simone, David Bowie, Elton John and Rufus Wainwright.
