Buddy Guy, one of the greats of the blues, will now release his long-awaited new studio album.

The double album Rhythm & Blues follows 2010’s Grammy-winning album Living Proof and features a host of guest collaborations: Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Beth Hart, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford of Aerosmith and, last but not least, the new star in the guitar-blues sky, Gary Clark Jr. accompany the eternally young 76-year-old Buddy Guy on this double LP, which is thematically divided into a „Rhythm” LP and a „Blues” LP.

Rhythm & Blues shows not only why the blues is still considered the foundation of all forms of popular music, but also why Buddy Guy has been such an important influence on the careers of guitar heroes such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck or Stevie Ray Vaughan.

The album, like Living Proof and Skin Deep, was produced by Buddy Guy’s longtime producer Tom Hambridge.
