This is a reissue of the second album by the short-lived British Progressive Rock group Patto (Hold Your Fire 1971), led by the charismatic vocalist Mike Patto. The original album presented eight songs, all composed by Halsall with lyrics by Mike Patto.

Fiery jazz playing mixed with hard-rock assault, in a manner that can only be called ‘fusion’. Undoubtedly the better of the three records that the group have made.
