Legendary Debut Album On 180g Vinyl LP!

The debut album from Evanescence was released in March 2003. The highly successful album debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200 (peaking at #3 in June 2003) selling over 141,000 copies during its first week. The album produced 4 singles, „Bring Me To Life, „My Immortal”, „Going Under”, and „Everybody’s Fool”.

Fallen earned the group five nominations at the 46th Grammy Awards including Album of The Year, Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song, Best Hard Rock Performance, and Best New Artist, winning for the latter two categories.

Amy Lee’s vocals take on another dimension when she just plays piano to it (My Immortal). The songs are either dark and very atmospheric, beautifully textured with keyboards, strings and layered back-up vocals, or on the other hand very edgy and crisp, but both push the music to new levels. The sound of the disc as a whole is definitely haunting and ethereal and gets better with each listen, it’s an album with a consistent quality that is incredibly captivating. The production is thicker, warmer and fuller than almost anything I’ve heard before. This is definitely more than just a solid entry for a newcomer.
