With over 23 million albums sold, Alison Moyet is one of the most successful British pop, jazz and blues singers and has always been a fixed star in the pop firmament.

In the early 80s, the British singer began her career as the frontwoman of Yazoo – the pop duo she formed with former Depeche Mode keyboardist Vince Clark. With their first two albums „Upstairs at Eric’s” and „You and Me Both„, they immediately made it to the top of the British charts.

The singer then successfully began her solo career in 1983. „Hoodoo” is her third solo album, was first released in 1991 and also contains the hit single „This House”. BMG is now releasing a reissue of the album based on the remastered tapes from 2016.
