„The Car” is the Arctic Monkeys’ seventh studio album and features ten new songs written by Alex Turner and produced by James Ford.

The album was recorded at Butley Priory, Suffolk, RAK Studios in London and La Frette in Paris. Following 2018’s „Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino,” „The Car” finds the Arctic Monkeys in a new, lushly orchestrated musical landscape and features some of the best and most impressive vocal performances of Alex Turner’s career.
