Def Jam Recordings release the 30th Anniversary LP Edition of the Beastie Boys’ great debut album „Licensed To Ill” (LP dropped since 2007!).

The album was originally released in 1986 – with on board: producer legend Rick Rubin. He was partly responsible for the band’s distinctive crossover sound, whose hip-hop beats and metal riffs (Slayer’s Kerry King on guitar!) became the soundtrack to teenage rebellion everywhere.

„Licensed To Ill” contains some of the biggest Beastie Boys hits, including „(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)”,” „No Sleep Till Brooklyn” and „Brass Monkey”.

Rolling Stone even named the album the „Greatest debut album of all time”.
