This was the last, and some say best, album by this prog rock band from Leicester. It was released in 1971 and received consistently positive reviews throughout Europe. On this album John Culley (guitarist, ex-Cressida) replaced co-founder Jim Gannon, but the band kept its original lead singer. Although first associated with the „Black Magic Cult” of the early 70’s, the band continued to develop their „own” sound on this album. The 6 tracks (including the 3-part „The Battle”) had a lasting impact on the development of rock and heavy metal in retrospect. The album has lost none of its power and still convinces today.
