Simon Green aka Bonobo has been among the spearhead of electronic producers since his last album „Black Sands” at the latest. After touring excessively with „Black Sands,” he began recording his new album in 2012. Recorded in his New York studio, Bonobo once again raises the bar on „The North Borders” and impresses with filigree rhythms and a wonderfully distinctive groove. Guests include the great Erykah Badu, Grey Reverend and Szjerdene. On „The North Borders” electronic, bass, house, soul, funk and pop merge in a miraculous way and make this masterpiece so timeless!
