“Encore un soir” is the title track of Céline Dion’s new album. The song, for which the Canadian worked with Jean-Jacques Goldman again for the first time in twelve years, is dedicated to her husband, who died in January 2016.
A total of twelve songs have made it onto “Encore un soir”. As usual, soulful pop meets the unmistakable voice of the singer. In addition, it is once again a purely French-language album.
And Goldman is not the only old acquaintance who supported the singer in writing the songs. The legendary French songwriters Francis Cabrel and Serge Lama wrote a song for the Canadian. Another song from “Encore un soir” was penned by her longtime musical partner Jacques Veneruso. Last, but not least, poetry slam artist Grand Corps Malade contributed some lyrics to the new album.
