Already both the name and the track list of Chris Rea’s new album show: The guitarist and singer sets a musical monument to his passion and joy of traveling in 2017.
“Road Songs For Lovers” is the name of the now 28th studio work of the Brit, the long-awaited successor to “Santo Spirito Blues”, with which he reached the Top 10 of the charts in Germany.
“Happy On The Road”, “The Road Ahead”, “Moving On”, “Nothing Left Behind” and “The Last Train” are some of the titles of the twelve songs on “Road Songs For Lovers”, which he recorded in early 2017 at Metropolis Studios in London.
And they once again prove the great songwriting qualities.
