Nude is the 4th album by the English pop band Dead or Alive. After parting ways with their successful production team Stock-Aiken-Waterman, band members Pete Burns and Steve Co took control of the ship. They have created an apt release that takes up most of their highly attractive and energetic dance, pop and Euro disco music.
The big hits from this album were Turn Around And Count 2 Ten and Come Home With Me Baby; both an electrifying fusion of electronica beats and danceable rhythms. One thing that makes this album so remarkable is the fact that each song segues into the next, perfectly accompanying the previous one.
Dead or Alive were successful in the mid-80s, selling over 50 million records worldwide. Founder and singer Pete Burns died in 2016, and subsequently the band disbanded.
