Grandiose blues collaboration album from legendary US rock musician Dion with an all-star line-up ranging from Joe Bonamassa and Jeff Beck to Paul Simon, Van Morrison and Bruce Springsteen.

In 2008, Rolling Stone (USA) ranked Dion 68th among the 100 greatest singers of all time. He enjoyed his greatest successes as Dion & The Belmonts in the 1950s and 1960s with hits such as “A Teenager In Love,” “Runaround Sue” and “The Wanderer.”

To this day, Dion DiMucci remains an in-demand rock & roll singer and blues songwriter, and now releases “Blues With Friends,” a fantastic album of prominent collaborations, including some of the world’s greatest rock and blues musicians.

The liner notes were written by none other than Bob Dylan. “Blues With Friends” is released on KSTA Records (Keeping The Blues Alive), a newly formed sub-label of Joe Bonamassa’s imprint J&R Adventures, which donates 10% of the proceeds to the KSTA Foundation, a foundation that promotes music education in schools.
