The eleventh album of George Harrison back on vinyl
In February 2017, George Harrison would have celebrated his 74th birthday. In keeping with this anniversary, all of the legendary Beatles lead guitarist’s solo albums from 1968-2002 are now being reissued, on vinyl.
“Cloud Nine” was George Harrison’s eleventh solo studio album, the ninth after the Beatles split. It was originally released on November 2, 1987 and was the follow-up to “Gone Troppo”.
As with the previous albums, Harrison brought several prominent guests into the studio for “Cloud Nine,” including Jeff Lynne, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Gary Wright and Ringo Starr.
For the reissue of the Harrison albums, all songs were mastered from the original tapes. The LPs are 180 g heavyweight vinyl. The cover artwork is exact copies of the original design.
