„Io Canto” is the eighth studio album by Laura Pausini (2006). The two additional songs included are „Io Canto (live Italian / Spanish / French)” and „Io Sì (Seen)/Yo si (Seen)/Moi si (Seen)/Seen (Io Sì) (live Italian / Spanish / French / English)”.

This is an album of cover versions: 16 of Laura’s favorite songs. Laura explained that she wanted to make all these fantastic Italian songs known to the international To the international audience. The composers are very well known: from Battisti and Mogol to Zucchero; from Tiziano Ferro and Gianluca Grignani to Ivano Fossati and Pino Daniele; from Raf and Riccardo Cocciante to Vasco Rossi…. and many more.
