Manu Chao has been traveling the world for years to meet his fans in unusual places, in villages and at small festivals. „Viva Tu” is a collection of songs that Manu Chao has written about daily life and his own personal struggles. From a refreshing perspective, he sings about the state of the world in Spanish, French, English and Portuguese and paints an unsparing picture of social inequalities.

The title track „Viva Tu”, a heartfelt rumba dedicated to the heroes of everyday life, has already left its mark. The second single „São Paulo Motoboy” is a colorful, sunny ode to the two-wheeled delivery drivers who venture through the Latin American metropolises every day. Chaos’ collaborations with country legend Willie Nelson and the up-and-coming French rapper Laeti are also featured on this album.
