During a break from Ultravox and his involvement in Band Aid / Live Aid, Midge Ure set up a home studio to record ideas that would eventually become his debut album. Featuring the UK No. 1 single „If I Was,” „The Gift” gathers a number of vocal and instrumental tracks into a classic ’80s album.
This newly remastered 2LP Expanded Edition includes a bonus LP of 12″ extended remixes of the album’s singles.
