Remastered from the original analogue tapes by JAMES GUTHRIE, JOEL PLANTE and BERNIE GRUNDMAN

„The Final Cut” is the twelfth long player by Pink Floyd. Originally released on March 21, 1983, the album is the last studio work with Roger Waters, who left the band in December 1985. At the same time, it is the only record on which keyboardist Richard Wright did not participate.

All twelve songs on „The Final Cut” were penned by Roger Waters. The bassist and singer dedicated the album to his father Eric Fletcher Waters. It is subtitled „A Requiem For The Post War Dream.”

The album reached number six in the USA, in Great Britain and Germany it conquered number one in the charts.

The songs of the reissue were remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman. All reissues of the series are released on 180 g heavy vinyl. The cover artwork is the original design.
