„News Of The World” is the sixth album by the British rock legends. It was originally released on October 28, 1977 and remains one of the band’s best-selling albums to this day. In their home country of Great Britain, it landed at number four on the charts, and in the USA it even reached number three. It is Queen’s first album to feature more songs by Brain May than Freddie Mercury.

The opener „We Will Rock You” („We’ll show you”) by Brian May is still frequently used as a warm-up song at sporting events worldwide.
