In 1974, just a few months after the release of their debut album, Queen was already headlining a major tour of the UK.

With their second single Seven Seas of Rhye they landed their first Top 10 hit.

Queen II is dark, pompous and bizarre rock, dominated by Brian May’s orchestral, singing guitar sound. The A-side compositions are by Brian May and Roger Taylor, but the highlight are the B-side tracks by Freddy Mercury. Most of the tracks were not played live later due to their complexity.
