One last passionate masterpiece

Status Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt already passed away last year. Before his death, however, the legendary British musician had been working on his first solo album. Now „Over And Out” is finally released.

Parfitt recorded ten brand new songs for it, at least the guitar and vocal parts. The record was finally finished by his son Rick Parfitt Jr. together with John „Rhino” Edwards, Alan Lancaster, Brian May from Queen and Chris Wolstenholme from Muse.

The production of „Over And Out” was handled by Jo Webb. Ash Howes was responsible for the subsequent mixing.

The title track of the album was already played at Rick Parfitt’s funeral.
