What a start for the rock year 2019: Rival Sons present their brand new album „Feral Roots” in January, the eagerly awaited successor to „Hollow Bones” from 2016.

The name says it all, because the band returns to its roots on the album and sounds as wild and untamed as ever.

This is already shown by the first two singles „Do Your Worst” and „Back In The Woods”, which once again fuse modern blues rock and riff-laden hard rock. A total of eleven songs are waiting on the record.

Rival Sons recorded „Feral Roots” at the famous RCA Studios in Nashville and at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama. Grammy winner Dave Cobb was once again at the controls. For the artwork of the new album, the band again relied on an old acquaintance: contemporary artist Martin Wittfooth.
