Unreleased album from 1981. Ltd to 2000 numbered copies, gatefold cover. Orange Vinyl.
The tracks of the album were recorded in late 1980 and early 1981 between Decca in Paris and Saint Soupplet in a villa purchased by Claude Lemoine, where a recording studio (Rockland Studios) was set up. Due to some commercial decisions of the then record company CGD, the partially completed album was never released; two tracks were instead included in the follow-up album released in the fall of 1981, “π 3,14: Hypnotic Reality” and “King of the Universe” (completely rearranged). The original tapes (24 tracks) were found in France more than a decade ago and acquired by Fabrice Quagliotti, who oversaw the subsequent restoration and mixing.
This should be the follow-up to the fantastic album “GALAXY“. Produced by Claude Lemoine, creator of the ROCKETS, it features all 5 original members of the band: Alain Groetzinger, Alain Maratrat, Christian Le Bartz, Fabrice Quagliotti, Gerard L’Her.
All tracks were written by the original band.
The guest singer on one track is Johnny X (from London). The true identity of Johnny X (who was famous at the time) must not be revealed.
