Schiller’s “Atemlos” to be released as a white double LP in February 2024!
After two years of “Sehnsucht“, the time had come again and Christopher von Deylen, better known as Schiller, presented his new double album “Atemlos” in March 2010. Von Deylen’s flair for unusual sounds and voices once again manifests itself in surprising musical collaborations. On the new double album, he works with US singer Nadia Ali, New Wave pioneer Midge Ure, the fascinating Anggun and cult drummer Jaki Liebezeit, among others.
While his previous album “Sehnsucht” involved a 20,000 kilometer journey from Berlin to Calcutta, the musician was inspired by the icy expanses for the “Atemlos” album. Accompanied by a team of oceanographers on the research vessel “Polarstern”, he immersed himself in the Arctic for four weeks in 2009. “Breathless” promises not only electronic pop, but also a journey through the icy spheres that impressively reflects von Deylen’s creative transgression of boundaries.
