“No Time To Chill” was released on July 20, 1998, having been previously recorded at Loop D. C. Studios 1 and 2 in Hamburg and produced by Scooter members Axel Coon and Rick J. Jordan. Band boss H. P. Baxxter was mainly responsible for the lyrics.
Among the best-known of the twelve songs on “No Time To Chill” are the singles “How Much Is The Fish,” which is based on the melody of the traditional Breton song “Son ar chistr,” “We Are The Greatest” and “I Was Made For Lovin’ You,” an adaptation of the Kiss classic.
At number four, “No Time To Chill” reached the highest chart position of a Scooter album in Germany up to that point in 1998. In Finland, the album even made it to number one.
