„Wicked!” is after „… And The Beat Goes On!” (1995) and „Our Happy Hardcore” the third album of the German dance legends. It was released on October 24, 1996, when the trio still consisted of the three founding members H. P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan and Ferris Bueller.

They recorded the eleven-song album together with the producer team The Loop!, consisting of Hans Peter Geerdes, Hendrik Stedler, Jens Thele and Sören Bühler, at Hamburg’s Loop Dance Constructions Studios.

It became a huge success: the first single, „I’m Raving”, inspired by the Marc Cohen ballad „Walking in Memphis” from 1991, reached number four on the charts and received a gold record for more than 250,000 copies sold. The second single, the dance ballad „Break It Up,” landed at number 15 on the German charts. The album „Wicked!” landed at number 22.
