Twelfth studio album by the American thrash metal band. Debuting at #11 in the UK Albums Chart, the album features the singles ‘Implode’, ‘When the Stillness Comes’, ‘Repentless’, ‘Cast the First Stone’ and ‘You Against You’.

The word “repentless” comes from the English word “unrepentant” and means ‘unrepentant’ – which is exactly what the album’s title track is about. According to Kerry King, the song is a tribute to her friend Jeff Hanneman and depicts life from his perspective. This attitude to life is also evident in the structure of the song, because “Repentless” is one thing above all: fast. Driving guitars, raging drums and lyrics shot out of a cannon – “Repentless” goes straight to the front.

The second single on the album follows on musically from the first. “Cast The First Stone” was also written by King, who is responsible for the majority of the songs on “Repentless“.
