T. P. Smoke was a little known Danish progressvie rock trio which mixed many different influences like psychedelic rock, early 70′ heavy organ-driven prog-rock (like Atomic Rooster), symphonic rock a la The Nice and blues (especially vocals seems to be bluesy).

Rare 8-track 1970 album with organ driven progressive rock with some blues leaning LP from Tommy „P” Petersen of Rocking Ghost, Scarlets & Matadorerne. T. P. Smoke mixed many different influences like psyc rock, early 70′ heavy organ-driven prog-rock in Atomic Rooster or Hansson & Karlsson vein, symphonic rock ala Nice and with Arthur Brown-like bluesy vocals. Tommy Petersen was the leader of the group – he wrote the songs, provided the soul and blues flavoured vocals and also played the lead instrument. Scandinavian precursor of the progressive rock music, they do not have had the recognition which they deserved.
