German label ZYX presents the third Vinyl Edition in the 80s Electro Tracks series. This one features such classics of the period like Axodry’s slice of neon-lit romance ‘Surrender’ (remix) featuring Frankfurt legends RaHen and Talla 2XLC, and fellow German synth-pop band Camouflage’s song from 1988 ‘Strangers Thoughts’ being some of the standout cuts on the first side. Over on the flip, there’s the wonderful Italo disco of Curare’s ‘To Have & Have Not’ (a Michael Munzing production), Joe Machine’s industrial EBM cut ‘Follow The Rainbow’ (Frankfurt Mix) and legends Yello with an extended version of ‘You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess’.
