Now on vinyl: electro bossa meets megastar
„Adele” Laurie Blue Adkins is one of the most successful female artists of the 21st century, with more than 120 million records sold. All four of the British singer’s albums reached number one in the charts. Most recently, she set new records with her album „30,” such as the one for the most streamed song in a day and in a week with the lead single „Easy On Me.” She has won numerous awards for her music, including 15 Grammy Awards. in 2013 Adele received the British award „Member of the Order of the British Empire”.
Already a few years ago, in 2017, „Bossa N’ Adele” was released, a new look at Adele’s work, an „electro-bossa treatment.” in 2022, the whole thing is now available as an LP on yellow vinyl.
Music Brokers’ sampler is dedicated to some of the biggest hits from Adele’s repertoire up to 2017, i.e. songs from the albums „19”, „21” and „25”, including classics such as „Set Fire To The Rain”, „Someone Like You,” „Chasing Pavements” and „Hello”, which for „Bossa N’ Adele: The Electro-Bossa Songbook Of Adele” have been given a new musical makeover with reworkings by Michelle Simonal, São Vicente and Shelly Sony, Banda Do Sul and Natascha, Amazonics and Scubba and Anekka. Another highlight is a new version of Adele’s „Skyfall,” the theme song to the 23rd James Bond film. The full track listing of the LP can be found below.
