Cool – calm – surprising: Volume 15 of this superlative series was again compiled by Compost’s mentor Michael Reinboth. The bulging package holds 21 tracks, including 8 exclusive unreleased delicacies and is available as 4-LP. Enjoy.

The exclusive tracks come from: Area (guess you know his brilliant Innervisions releases), Arnau Obiols & KAYYAK (heavily featured by Gilles Peterson, their EP „Chang?an” was in his 2021 top 5 list), Ron Deacon (belongs to the Workshop crew with Move D, Even Tuell and Kassem Mosse), Class Compliance, oh man what a hammer track, Mille & Hirsch (operators of the fine Polish Records – label), All Is Well (behind this is of course Fred Everything), Ben Sturm (a new talent from Leipzig’s viral underground scene) and Oliver Kieser (best known as part of Kieser & Velten with some records on G-Stone).

Well, fine, as always, almost all the tracks are wonderful hybrids, perfect for any eclectic set, but also for relaxed enjoyment of wine, beer, harder or green stuff. Maybe special mention would be the Esa Williams remix of Bantu Clan Vs Sarabi and Kevin Yost’s original mix of „Another World”, they didn’t exist like this in versions on vinyl before.

Various magazines have voted Future Sounds Of Jazz as one of the best compilation series of all time. We are flattered. With the launch of the series in 1995, the genre of Future Jazz was virtually born, unestablished.
