The legendary Belgian band Vaya con Dios, with over 10 million albums sold worldwide, returns with a collection of re-recordings of their greatest songs, including their hits „What’s A Woman” and „Nah Neh Nah.”
The original 1990 versions were each streamed over 20 million times and today Vaya Con Dios still has nearly a million listeners on streaming platforms. On „What’s A Woman? (Parce Que – La Collection)”, the emotional songs are carried only by the piano accompaniment and the voice of singer Dani Klein, and are thus characterized by a very special intimacy.
At the same time, however, the album bristles with power and virtuoso piano playing Actually, Dani Klein had ended her career as a singer – but then came COVID with its boredom and a call from [PIAS] founder Kenny Gates. Quickly the plan took shape and with the help of exceptional pianist William Lecomte this special album was finally created.
