In January 1977 Pink Floyd released their tenth studio album „Animals”
The work conquered No. 1 in the German charts, is considered one of their best – and it is now, 45 years later, re-released as Deluxe Gatefold Edition, CD, LP and Blu-ray. For the first time ever, the album will be heard in 5.1 surround sound. The individual versions will be available from September 16, 2022, with the deluxe version following on October 7.

„Animals 2018 Remix” will be released as a CD, LP (with gatefold sleeve artwork), Blu-ray audio and deluxe gatefold format. The deluxe gatefold version includes an LP, CD, audio Blu-ray, audio DVD and a 32-page booklet. The audio Blu-ray and DVD include the 2018 remix in stereo, in 5.1 surround (both by James Guthrie) and the original stereo mix from 1977. The 32-page booklet provides a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot for the record sleeve with rarely seen photos, as well as live images and memorabilia. The album artwork has been reinterpreted with a contemporary motif for this release.
