When they were unable to obtain the rights to the Yes name, the four band members released their album under their collective names: Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe. This was the self-titled debut album of the reformation of the classic Yes lineup, consisting of Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe. It was also the only studio album they released under that name, as they later reunited as Yes. It features guest appearances by current Yes keyboardist Geoff Downes, GTR vocalist Max Bacon, producer Rhett Lawrence and Oscar-winning producer Vangelis, among others.
