Billy Idol, born in 1955 under the civil name William Michael Albert Broad in Stanmore in England. After first successes with the punk band Generation X, he moves to New York in 1981 and the rest is music history: In the eighties, he became a worldwide megastar as a solo artist with hits like “White Wedding,” “Flesh For Fantasy,” “Eyes Without A Face,” “Sweet Sixteen,” “Dancing With Myself.”
