The anthology

A good 50 years ago, Clannad started their career in their father’s pub. With their combination of traditional Irish folk music and modern rock and new age, the family band soon made a name for themselves far beyond their homeland.

Before going on a big farewell tour next year, the Irish present their new anthology in 2020: „In A Lifetime„.

Fans know: the name of the collection comes from their hit single from 1985 together with U2 frontman Bono.

The best of 50 years and 16 albums, an important chapter in Irish music history: here is „In A Lifetime” by Clannad.
