Dalida has had an international career and sold over 140 million records worldwide. She started out as an actress and made her debut in 1955 in the film “A Glass and A Cigarette” by Niazi Mustapha. A year later, after signing with the Barclay record company, she had her first success as a singer with “Bambino”. Between 1957 and 1961, she became the biggest record seller in France and her music charted in many European and Latin American countries.
Presented here are 20 of her greatest performances, including the hits “Gondolier”, “Les enfants du Pirée” and “Le temps des fleurs” and many others. Recorded between 1957 and 1962.
