“Volcano” follows on from Jungle’s previous album “Loving In Stereo“, which was a milestone for the celebrated British duo.

The album reached its highest ever position in the UK charts, debuting at #3, while also peaking at #1 in the international charts in key countries including Australia, Germany (#18), Switzerland (#8), Belgium and the Netherlands; and in the US it catapulted to #1 on the Billboard Dance Albums chart, leading to major arena shows supporting Billie Eilish.

The free-spirited energy that runs through “Volcano” reflects how organically the album came together. J and T had written the majority of the album on tour before they began recording while staying in an Airbnb in Los Angeles. Later, the album was completed at home in London in their favorite place, Studio B at Metropolis Studios. This time around, the duo wanted to incorporate a wider variety of voices into the album. In addition to Erick The Architect, they also re-signed Bas (who previously appeared on the “Loving In Stereo” single “Romeo”) for “Pretty Little Thing”, as well as bringing in talent such as Roots Manuva, Channel Tres and JNR Williams.
