Record is a tribute to the great instrumental snthesizer music that Kebu grew up with by the likes of Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Mike Oldfield.
180 gram vinyl comes with an A2 (59,5cm * 42cm) poster of the cover art made by Heidi Väisänen. For this vinyl edition the original oil painting was rescanned and the mixes were remastered.
Kebu’s debut album “To Jupiter and Back” celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2022 and will be re-released on vinyl to mark the occasion.
The album was a tribute to Kebu’s original influences for his music, namely Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Mike Oldfield. The album contains eleven tracks, of which “Le Carnaval des Étoiles”, “Pulsar” and the and the title track are among Kebu’s most popular songs. True to his trademark, the songs were produced only with analog synthesizers and mastered with analog mixer. This LP also includes a poster of the original cover, painted by Kebu’s wife Heidi Väisänen.
