“Stayed Awake All Night / The Best Of Krokus” is a 1989 best-of album by Swiss hard rock / heavy metal band Krokus. It contains a collection of hits focusing on the band’s guitar-heavy jams from 1982 to 1986. With their infectious guitar solos and drum and guitar rhythms, Krokus can be ranked with other great bands of their time like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Some of the singles included on this album are “Screaming in the Night”, “Long Stick Goes Boom” and “Ballroom Blitz”.

This best-of album features artwork by Mark Ryden, also known as the “Godfather of Pop Surrealism,” who has mastered the lowbrow style. He previously designed the artwork for “Love In An Elevator” by Aerosmith, “Dangerous” by Michael Jackson and “One Hot Minute” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
