„Kings of Metal” is the sixth album by the American heavy metal band Manowar. The album was the last to feature guitarist and founding member Ross „The Boss” Friedman. In 2017, it was ranked by Loudwire as the 13th best power metal album of all time.

Everything is just right here: the songs, the sound, the technical performance, the packaging – and last but not least, the stylistic balance. From the deadly uptempo neckbreaker („Wheels Of Fire”, „Blood Of The Kings”, „Hail And Kill”) to the dramatic ballad („Heart Of Steel”), the entire metal spectrum is covered. The fact that „Kings Of Metal” nevertheless reaches the finish line without any compromises is partly due to the fact that the band has the best metal singer of all time in its ranks in Eric Adams.
