Marilyn Manson are back. In the luggage, the American rock band has 2017 their now tenth studio album. „Heaven Upside Down” is the successor to „The Pale Emperor” from 2015.

Frontman Manson and his colleagues Tyler Bates, Twiggy and Gil Sharone worked on the songs for a good two years. In the end, a total of ten songs were recorded.

This also includes the two singles that the band already released in advance: „We Know Where You Fucking Live” and „Kill4Me”.

And they show that on „Heaven Upside Down” Marily Manson orient themselves away from the bluesy-rocky sound of the predecessor and rather back towards their musical beginnings, between rough industrial metal and gothic rock à la „Antichrist Superstar”.
