„Obscured By Clouds” is the seventh long player of Pink Floyd. The album was originally released on June 3, 1972 and is based on their soundtrack to the French film La Vallée.
The recording of „Obscured By Clouds” took place at the Château-d’Hérouville studios near Paris. They lasted only two weeks.
It is still the first album in which Pink Floyd used a synthesizer.
