Schiller’s “Day and Night” finally on vinyl!

In October 2005, Christopher von Deylen presented his fans and listeners with “Day and Night“, the fourth Schiller studio album, which once again redefined the boundaries of his music. It focuses on an extraordinary stylistic range and surprises listeners with unfamiliar sounds.

Now this masterpiece is being released on vinyl for the first time, as a limited edition of 2000 yellow double LPs. Naturally, the Day and Night Vinyl Edition contains all 20 impressive album tracks, which once again underline Christopher von Deylen’s artistic vision and show that he is not averse to stylistic boundaries in his music.

Guest musicians include outstanding artists such as Thomas D from Die Fantastischen Vier, Jette von Roth, Moya Brennan from Clannad and Kim Sanders. Christopher von Deylen even integrated Mike Oldfield into the elaborately orchestrated track “Morgentau”. The characteristic spoken word passages, a trademark of Schiller, are also artfully placed in this album and are interpreted by the well-known speakers Jürgen Kluckert and Ernst Meinecke.

All in all, this LP is a musical experience that reflects the diversity of Schiller in an impressive way and, with the new format, opens up a new physical dimension.
