„Age Of Love” for the first time as an LP
„Age Of Love” was originally released on August 27, 1997, just one year after „Wicked!„. Scooter at that time still consisted of the three founding members H. P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan and Ferris Bueller. The twelve-song record, like its predecessor, was recorded with the production team The Loop! at Hamburg’s Loop Dance Constructions Studios. Jordan handled the mixing and sound engineering. „Age Of Love” was, however, the last album on which Bueller participated. He left the band a year later and started his solo career. He was replaced by Axel Coon.
As singles from „Age Of Love” the songs „Fire” and the title track were released. „Fire” reached number five in the charts in Germany and Austria, and even number one in Finland. „The Age of Love” also reached number one in the charts in Finland, and number 14 in Germany. The album ranked 19th in Germany, and again number four in Finland.
