The “White Album” reissued
Hard to believe, but true: the legendary album “The Beatles“, also known as the “White Album“, will be 50 years old in 2018. For this special birthday, there are now several reissues in different formats.
The “White Album,” which takes its name from its plain white cover designed by Richard Hamilton, was originally released on November 22, 1968. It is the Beatles’ ninth studio album, and also the only double album by the British rock legends.
For the reissue, all songs were remixed from the original four-track and eight-track session tapes by Giles Martin and Sam Okell together with engineers and audio restorers at Abbey Road Studios in London.
