Released in 1968, Waiting For the Sun was the third studio album from the Doors featuring Jim Morrison at the helm. The album topped the charts for four weeks and includes their second US #1 single „Hello, I Love You”. The album also contains the single „The Unknown Soldier” which peaked at #39 on the Billboard Hot 100.

With an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of singer Jim Morrison’s poetry and presence, The Doors had a transformative impact not only on popular music but on popular culture.
