A career retrospective meets new songs: With „History” Thomas Anderes presents a new album in 2016.
Thomas Anders released his first single as a solo artist as early as 1980. However, the big success came five years later as the singer of Modern Talking with the song „You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul”.
From then on, the steep career of Thomas Anders and his band colleague Dieter Bohlen began, which produced many more hit singles, including „Cheri, Cheri Lady”, „Brother Louie” and „Geronimo’s Cadillac”.
After the duo finally broke up in 2003, Thomas Anders remained true to his calling as a singer and musician and continued as a solo artist. As such, he released a total of twelve albums. Since then, however, his live repertoire has always included numerous Modern Talking hits.
Ten of them he now presents on „History” in a new modern guise. For this Anders worked together with his longtime companion, the producer Christian Geller. Together they have been writing songs for many years, among others for the No Angels. Geller was also responsible for the Heino album „Mit freundlichen Grüßen” (2013).
With „Lunatic” and „Take The Chance”, two completely new songs are waiting for you on „History” in addition to Modern Talking classics.
For those who want to delve even deeper into the singer’s repertoire, the Deluxe Edition is highly recommended. On it there are three more Modern Talking songs, which Thomas Anders has subsequently reinterpreted.
