After Udo Dirkschneider already performed with the music corps of the German Armed Forces at the Wacken Open Air five years ago, the metal pioneer and his band U.D.O. 2020 present a whole album in cooperation with the orchestra.

„We Are One” is the name of the 15-song record that deals with global issues and problems such as the refugee situation, climate change and environmental pollution.

Dirkschneider collaborated on the songwriting with the two former Accept members Stefan Kaufmann and Peter Baltes as well as the musiccorps’ own composers Guido Rennert and Alexander Reuber. Lieutenant Colonel Christoph Scheibling took over the leadership of the music corps.

The result is „We Are One„, an absolutely unusual but stirring project that finds the perfect balance between the hard U.D.O. sound and orchestral sounds.
