Just a year after Babymetal released their stunning debut in Europe, they are following up. The second album “Metal Resistance” will be released on April 1, 2016 – from now on just called “Fox Day”.

Kobametal, mastermind behind Babymetal, explains, “The Fox God has predicted that on April 1, 2016 – Fox Day – Babymetal’s new album will be released. Since the release of Babymetal’s debut, we have traveled the globe non-stop as part of our world tour and have been able to experience more than once the magic that happens when people come together because of music, because of Babymetal. Our new song ‘The One’ is about exactly that: bringing the world together. All I can ask of fans is to wait patiently for Fox Day to arrive.”

Babymetal are and remain one of the most impressive musical phenomena worldwide and are taking the world by storm. formed in Japan in 2010, the heavy metal band centered around three teenage girls rapidly developed into a global hype. The band’s debut album features the million-click songs “Gimme Chocolate!!! ” and “Doki Doki Morning.” Pop and rock greats like Lady Gaga, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, Slipknot and Guns’N’Roses legend Slash are avowed fans.
